Anyone who knows me, knows that I’m low key a sucker for art. That being said, my interest was BEYOND peaked when my cousin told me about this dope artist she discovered – Sue Tsai.
The New York Fine Artist recently hosted an art gallery and pop-up shop in NYC to showcase her 10-piece Misadventures of The Heart collection.
As expected, the exhibit was nothing short of Dopeness on Arrival! 🙌🏽 I was undoubtedly fascinated by the incredible detail in each and every piece – it’s truly a testament to Sue’s dedication to her artwork.
Clearly, the ‘Rooted In Love’ painting had me feeling a lil fanciful 😩😂
Anyways, I got a chance to chop it up with Sue about her amazing collection – she’s such a sweetheart! We spoke a bit about the inspiration behind her collection, and she also shared her fave piece – Tunnel Vision, pictured on the right (above on mobile). The bold and edgy artist particularly loves this piece, because of the 3-D effect that it delivers. I also think it’s pretty cool the way it seems to pop out at you; even more so in person!
The exhibit was a refreshing experience overall, and I really think you guys will enjoy Sue Tsai’s artistic aesthetic and merchandise .
You can find out more about Sue, discover more amazing art pieces, and cop dope prints/merch on her official website.
“Art permits us to find ourselves & lose ourselves at the same time.”- Unknown
It’s truly amazing how we as humans, can create incredible things that provide an escape for ourselves, as well as others. Whether through music, paintings, writing, or even food …. The ability to touch someone’s core through art is deeply profound, and indescribably powerful.
I genuinely believe that art is life; and life is nothing without purpose. Each of us have unique talents that can be used towards something much greater than ourselves. Now, of course it’s different for everyone, but the goal should forever be the same – to inspire.
